What this site is

Espresso Gear Guide publishes editorial content about espresso equipment, water, maintenance and technique. It is information, not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the documentation that came with your equipment.

Use at your own risk

Espresso machines combine pressurised hot water, electricity, and in some designs steam under pressure. Descaling agents and cleaning chemicals are corrosive. Modifying equipment can void a warranty and can injure you.

Follow your manufacturer’s documentation. Where it conflicts with anything published here, the manufacturer wins.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for damage to equipment, property or persons arising from anything published on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Accuracy

We take care with what we publish and we correct errors when they are pointed out. We do not warrant that everything here is complete, current or free of mistakes.

Prices and availability change constantly. A figure shown on this site was accurate when it was captured and may not be the figure you pay. The price at the retailer at the moment of purchase is the one that counts.
